SPEDCONT Co. Ltd. is a Polish operator of intermodal transport, dealing with transport of cargo in containers, swapbodies and trailers. It has been operating as SPEDCONT in domestic and international markets since 1994, but our freight forwarding experience date back to the 1960s. "Przedsiebiorstwo Spedycji Krajowej - PSK" ("Domestic Forwarding Company") was created in 1963 and from the half of seventieth years there was developed the railway container transportation. These are the roots of our Firm. In 1991 PSK was transformed into a partnership called "SPEDPOL Spedycja Polska" with the Polish Ministry of Transport and Swedish consortium "Bilspedition" as its shareholders. Within this Company the transportation of containers was arranged by the container Department placed in Lodz. SPEDCONT Co. Ltd. was established in 1994 on the basis of this Department.

Since the beginning of 1996 SPEDCONT has been owned by the Authorities of the Sea Port Gdynia and PEKAES SA The stock capital of the Company has become 100% national. Initial capital – 5 118 000 PLN.
